Ticketmaster & My Love of Video Production

Every so often a friend and colleague comes to me needing help with something that I can’t foresee how it will effect my future. But in the case of Ryan Cory and Ticketmaster my future was changed forever.

“Hey, you have nice hands right? I wanna record you using this Ticketmaster order form because I don’t have any footage of someone using it. Wanna help?”
RYAN CORY

He may not have realized it, but from that moment on his casual approach to the process taught me that in video editing it’s all about the story and not always about the craft. Though most of the video is well crafted and very refined the portion that I helped with almost seems out of place. But in the scheme of things it add a very interracial part to Ticketmaster’s story and how one uses their platform.

This is the frame of my hands that Ryan ended up using. I’ve always wondered if he knew how much this project helped project me in to learning more about video edit.

What’s more, Ryan really spring boarded me into my deep interest of video production and editing. It was from this very project that my love of the craft in film production was born, and if it wasn’t for him I would have never worked with clients like Ticketmaster and many, many more in the future.
